Lindy pitches itself as "the simplest way for businesses to create, manage, and share agents. Now with just a prompt." The marketing site breaks out ready-made operators (Support, Inbound SDR, Creative, Document Processing) and each one spells out the channel it covers (chat, calls, email) plus the hand-off it automates. Why it's in my stack

  • Prompt-to-agent onboarding. The hero flow literally asks, "Ask Lindy what to do and watch it build your Agent in minutes," so getting to a functional runbook is about describing the outcome rather than wiring frameworks.
  • Verticalized presets. The Support Agent resolves tickets "across chat, calls and email," the Inbound SDR Agent "research[es], qualif[ies] and convert[s] inbound leads," the Creative Agent builds "on brand marketing campaigns," and the Document Processing Agent automates data entry. Those blueprints show up as starting prompts I can remix.
  • Integrations + sharing. The site highlights "Thousands of integrations available" and multiplayer editing, so I can invite clients into the same environment when we co-build a workflow.

Plays I run with it

  1. Support triage. Drop macros + escalation rules into the Support Agent preset, connect Intercom/Zendesk, and let Lindy handle low-risk cases before piping the transcript back into human queues.
  2. Outbound cleanup. Use the Inbound SDR preset to research a list, qualify against ICP tags, and push qualified leads into HubSpot via the integrations catalog.
  3. Internal doc reviews. Point the Document Processing agent at compliance files so it can strip structured data into Airtable rows while leaving a human-auditable log.

Getting access

  • Start in the browser at lindy.ai - you'll need to create an account before you can ship your first agent.
  • The onboarding flow walks you through setting custom instructions "in natural language," then connecting integrations for delivery.
  • Agents live in the Lindy workspace, so teams can "discover apps," remix each other's flows, and promote proven ones into shared catalogs.
